TRICOM: Counter Assault Tactics (C.A.T.)
Survive The Ambush. Survive The Fight.
TRICOM Counter Assault Tactics (CAT) focuses on empty-hand defensive tactics against the most common types of weapon and non-weapon based street attacks. This could be a knife attack, a sucker punch, a tackle etc. We look at a common core set of techniques and tactics that can be utilized to defend against a variety of assaults, therefore allowing a more streamlined response to various threat stimulus within a limited amount of training. This course also builds a strong basis upon which participants can build if they want to take a deeper dive into the different kinds of threats and responses that we will be training for.
What's included

- Techniques that apply across multiple attack types (strikes, takedowns, edged weapons, close-range weapon attacks)
