Scholarships available for residents of developing countries

Total runtime: 139+ minutes.

When it comes to blade-based self-defense, not enough can be said about the importance of simplicity. That's why many prefer the Karambit-style knife. The curvature of the karambit blade, often replicating the claws and talons of predators of the animal kingdom, lends to the natural movements of the arms and the hands. This can make even a novice dangerous when wielding it. Although the Karambit can be used to great effect naturally, with the help of a solid training program this can become one of the most effective self-defense tools available.

Unfortunately, many of the Karambit tutorials available are unrealistic and sophisticated. They can sometimes get complex, just for the sake of complexity. Often at the expense of practicality when it comes to real-world application. Incorporating fine motor skills and multiple grips changes during a life-or-death encounter can create vulnerabilities and complications.

The TRICOM Karambit Combatives Premium Course features a progressive training system that builds your skills from the ground up. The drills and concepts in this course will specifically enhance your ability to safely utilize a Karambit as a tool of defense through a deeper focus on footwork & mobility, weapon manipulation, timing and accuracy drills, interceptions, controls, and counter-attacks. Each drill takes you step-by-step from its foundational concepts all the way to advanced application.
