Tuhon in the Korean language refers to “Fighting Spirit.” In the Philippines, it refers to one who has reached a certain mastery level of the martial arts. This class combines the empty-handed techniques and concepts of Filipino “Dirty Boxing” Panantukan and Pangamut (Pekiti Tirsia system) along with Korean Hapkido. Minimum age for participation is 13.
Pekiti Tirsia Kali M/W 6:00pm

Pekiti-Tirsia Kali is a highly effective close-quarters fighting art indigenous to the Visayan region of the Philippines.
Based on tactics and strategies derived from edged weapons, Pekiti-Tirsia Kali is a complete system incorporating both impact weapons, edged weapons and empty hands methods. Designed for both single and multiple attackers, Pekiti-Tirsia is an ancient art that has evolved to stay relevant for modern combat and self-defense scenarios. Minimum age for participation is 16. Due to the nature of this martial art, minors will require a parent’s written consent to participate.
TRICOM Grappling M/W 7:00pm

TRICOM Grappling is focused on the self-defense application of stand-up clinch fighting and ground grappling. We utilize a hybrid of methods from various combat arts to include wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Filipino Martial Arts and others. Training begins by following the TRICOM S.E.R.E. methodology: learning to Evade and Resist going to the ground when it’s not to our advantage, and Surviving and Escaping the ground if we end up there. From there focus is put on practical grappling methods that allow each participant to control and dominate fights from stand-up clinch and ground grappling situations.
TRI-ANGLE COMBATIVES (TRICOM) M/W 7:00pm

TRICOM is a self-defense and Combatives system taught to elite Special Forces units around the world. Resident instructor and founder of the system - Jared Wihongi - began development of this program while a full-time police Defensive Tactics instructor for the Salt Lake City Police Department and Combatives Instructor for the US Army 19th Special Force Group (Airborne).
Open Mat M/T/W/TH 8:00pm

Open Mat is a time when students can participate in sparring or rolling drills and exercises. Primary for the grappling arts, but occasionally striking and weapon based arts will use this time for sparring also.
Kids Class T/TH 5:00pm

We believe that the foundation of martial arts training should be a broad one. Our children’s martial arts classes draw upon the same great sources for striking, kicking, grappling, and self-defense as our adult classes, but provide that training in a single, integrated format designed specifically for a younger audience. Students will learn grappling from Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, striking from Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Kempo and Kali, along with self-defense courses, and anti-bullying skills, all in a format that is fun and safe for kids of all ages.
Combat Conditioning T/TH 6:00pm

Combat Conditioning is designed to support a combat athlete’s complete training program. This is a unique system that utilizes heavy punching bags, focus mitts, Thai pads, belly pads, shadow boxing, and plyometrics designed to use the body’s weight for conditioning. It’s an excellent way to get in shape, stay in shape, or improve your shape. The program also prepares you for the rigors of our martial arts curriculum, so you can quickly start.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu T/TH 7:00pm

Jiu-jitsu “The Gentle Art” specializes in ground fighting that relies on technique and not just strength alone. This art first gained prominence with the advent of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and other ‘no-holds-barred’ matches. It is one of the most respected and effective grappling arts in the world, and the techniques learned can easily defeat a larger opponent or attacker. Positioning, escapes/reversals, chokes, joint locking, and self-defense are all taught.

The training lab is a private group for advanced athletes who want individualized, sport-specific programming in a group training environment. Gym Jones Advanced is a fast paced class for experienced athletes. Programming for this class is designed for general physical preparedness and increasing overall fitness for the all around athlete.
Gym Jones Fundamentals of Strength and Conditioning T/TH 5pm

Gym Jones Fundamentals is for athletes who are new to strength and conditioning, those who have taken an extended break from regular training or who would like to focus on developing good lifting technique and training habits. This is a group training environment but athletes will receive individualized instruction and assistance to ensure a safe and effective training experience.
